General Information
Students from First Year Arts, with at least a D average, may take either the Honours or Major programme in Business Administration starting in Second Year. The courses required for both the Honours and Major programmme are detailed below.
To earn an Bachelor of Arts (Honours Business Administration) degree, a student must:
- successfully complete the Honours programme, and
- must maintain a minimum B average in 300 and 400 level Business Administration courses, and
- must attain a minimum overall B- average in their 4th Year.
- must maintain at least an overall B- average in each year of the programme to remain in the Honours programme.
Students graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (Major Business Administration) who attain at least an A- average in their 300 and 400 level courses will have their transcripts annotated "with First Class Distinction".
Students graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (Major Business Administration) who attain at least a B- average in their 300 and 400 level courses will have their transcripts annotated "with Distinction".
All other students will be granted a Bachelor of Arts (Major Business Administration) degree.

The following is an outline by year of a typical programme of study that would cover required courses. Actual programmes of study may vary slightly but will still cover all required courses.
Year 1
College Core Curriculum: ENE110, HIE102, PSE103, PSE105, POE102, POE105, ECE103, ECE104, MAE103(note1), MAE113.
Note 1. MAE103 must be taken if the student does not pass the challenge exam in mathematics. This course, while required, is not a university level course and does not count towards the degree.

Note 2. PHE102 and CCE106 are high school equivalency courses. Students having high school leaving physics need not take PHE102 and students having high school leaving chemistry need not take CCE106. These courses, while required, are not university level courses and do not count toward the degree.

Concentration
The Concentration in Business Administration is not open to ROTP/RETP cadets
30 credits must be completed, and of these 30:
- At least 15 must be earned through RMCC, (including six in the chosen discipline)
- At least 10 must be at the senior level
- At least 20 must be in Arts, (of which at least 12 must be in Business Administration)
- At least 6 of the 12 Business Administration credits must be at the senior level
- At least 6 of the 12 Business Administration credits must be earned through RMCC
Note: A credit may fulfil several requirements at the same time, ex: a course could be in Arts (including Business Administration), at the senior level and taken through RMCC. The BA Programme includes a compulsory core.

Certificate in Management with Applications to Defence
This Certificate is intended to allow individuals to gain a basic understanding of the defence management field. The topics include Principles of Management, Quantitative Methods, Marketing, Information Systems, Financial and Management Accounting, Decision-making, and Fundamentals of Human Psychology. In addition, the Certificate can be applied to the General BA and BMASc degrees.
The equivalent of ten one-credit courses is required for completion of the Certificate.
