Yves V. RaicLecturer
Department of History
Yves
V. Raic practiced law for twenty years before recasting
his career as an academic. He demonstrates a particular
interest in Diplomatic History, Military History, and
Strategy, as evidenced by his Doctoral Dissertation
discussing the Anglo-American Combined Chiefs of Staffs’ strategy

during the Second World War. The Dissertation explores
the strong relationships between Grand Strategy, Strategy,
