General information
I received my PhD in 1987 from Université de Montréal. My research now is essentially in Multiple-Valued Logic and Discrete Mathematics.
I teach algebra at all levels and also selected courses in theoretical computer science.
I am editor of "Multiple-Valued Logic, an International Journal".
I contribute to the IEEE International Symposium on Multiple-Valued Logic on a regular basis.
I am a fan of Euler, Galois and Gauss. I also hold much admiration for Gosciny, Astérix' father, and for Maurice Bernachon, France's most reknown chocolatier.
My favorite artists? There are many, including Patrice l'Ecuyer who I think is génial.
I spend much of my free time doing math, playing with my son, and cooking. I would really like to transfer some of my passion for mathematics to my students. Anyway, I try hard!
