Brief History
Captain Kotzer has been a member of the Faculty since 2008, specializing in combustion, aerospace propulsion and rotary wing aviation. His current research activities include investigations into gas turbine combustion, utilizing the combustion chamber sector rig (CCSR). Prior to joining the Faculty, Captain Kotzer was employed at 408 Tactical Helicopter Squadron as the Deputy Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Officer, deploying in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and at 1 Wing Headquarters as the Aircraft Maintenance Standards and Evaluation Officer.
