Professional Biography
Lieutenant-Colonel Janine Knackstedt enrolled in Montreal as an Army Logistics Officer in 1978 and subsequently became a Personnel Selection Officer in 1989. She has earned both, a Bachelor of Commerce and a Counselling Diploma from McGill University, as well as a Masters and PhD in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology from the University of Waterloo. In 2005, Lieutenant-Colonel Knackstedt was posted in the Department of Military Psychology and Leadership where she serves as an Associate Professor. Her research interests focus mainly on mentoring and leadership in the work place.
