Professional Biography
Captain Labrecque enrolled in the CF in 1999 while working for the military community as a coordinator at the Valcartier Military Family Resource Centre. She served as a reservist until her transfer to the Regular Forces as a Personnel Selection Officer in 2001. She is a graduate of Université de Sherbrooke where she completed a Bachelor of Psychology (1997) and a Master of Psychology, specialisation in Human Relations and Organisational Development in health care setting (2000). She assumed the function of Wing Personnel Selection Officer at the 3rd Wing Bagotville (02-03), Personnel Selection Officer within the Personnel Development section at CFSU Ottawa (03-06) and Base Personnel Selection Officer at CFB Kingston (06-07). Captain Labrecque was posted to RMC in June 2007 and is currently employed as a lecturer in the Military Psychology and Leadership Department.
Her academic interests include organisational behaviour, selection norms and post-traumatic stress disorder.
