Dr. Mohamed Douch is teaching Economics at the department of Politics and Economics of the Royal Military College of Canada (RMCC) where he has been on the faculty since 2006. He holds an MA in Financial Economics and a PhD in Macroeconomics from the University of Quebec at Montreal (UQAM). He is a member of the American Economic Association, the Canadian Economic Association and a research associate at the Chair in Defence Management Studies.

Prof. Douch's primary research interests include macroeconomics, monetary policy analysis, financial economics, econometrics and Defence Economics and security. He has published in various journals including the Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Journal of Economics and International Finance, the Euro-Mediterranean Economics and Finance Review, and has pending publications in other journals.

Courses taught include undergraduate and graduate classes in macroeconomics, microeconomics, econometrics, and statistics at both UQAM and RMCC.
