CF Subsidized Academic Programmes
Admissions
There are various academic programmes within the Canadian Forces that assist Non-Commissioned Members and Officers in obtaining an Undergraduate degree. These programmes are usually merit based and have restrictions such as minimum rank, time left to complete an undergraduate degree, Commanding Officer’s recommendation, be already enrolled in a degree programme or be able to meet the application pre-requisites for the subsidized University programme. These programmes provide financial subsidization which normally includes pay, tuition, books, school fees and/or instruments. The programmes normally require a period of obligatory service once the candidate has completed their programme of study. The period of obligatory service is usually at least equivalent to the period of subsidization provided.
These programmes include:
- Initial Baccalaureate Degree Programme (IBDP)
- ROTP - Reservists
- University Training Plan – Non-Commissioned Members (UTPNCM)
- Continuing Education Officer Training Plan (CEOTP)
The links provided above will provide details on how candidates interested in these Programmes may be eligible to attend RMCC to meet the aims of the Programmes.
To apply to the programmes above or for more information please consult your career manager and/or the various DAODs, CFAOs, CANAIRGENS and CANFORGENS.
