- A premier source of business information that covers over 1,000 international journals. Citations include abstracts and many provide full text access. Topics covered include business, management, economics, corporate strategies, product information, etc.
- Business Source Complete 1886- (through CFVL)
- Business Source Complete provides full text from 11,200 sources, including more that 1,100 scholarly business journals as well as country economic reports from sources such as the EIU and Global Insight, detailed company profiles for the world's largest companies, etc. This database covers almost every aspect of business, such as accounting, banking, finance, insurance, economics, computer science etc.
- Canadian Economy Online (Statistics Canada)
- This website provides a variety of information on Canada's economy and the latest key economic indicators
- CBCA (Canadian Business and Current Affairs) Complete 1971- (through CFVL)
- CBCA Complete indexes over 1,600 mainly Canadian journals and other sources, some with full text. A wide range of subjects are covered including business, education, current events, science and medicine, arts, law, etc.
- EconLit with Full Text
- EconLit with Full Text contains all of the indexing available in EconLit, plus full text for more than 480 journals, including the American Economic Association journals with no embargo (American Economic Review, Journal of Economic Literature, and Journal of Economic Perspectives). This database also contains many non-English full-text journals in economics & finance.
- EIU (Economist Intelligence Unit) (through CFVL)
- The EIU data service includes Viewswire, political and economic analysis of world markets; Risk Briefing, a geopolitical analysis of risk factors' and Country Profiles
- IDEAS (RePEc: Research Papers in Economics)
- Ideas is the complete database of the RePEc project, a collaborative effort of volunteer participants and academic institutions in the U.S. and around the world to disseminate research in economics and to create a database of working papers and journal articles, most in full text.
- JSTOR (through CFVL)
- This database is a full-text archive for journals in humanities, social sciences, and sciences. Most recent issues (3 to 5 years) are not available, but in some cases may be accessible through other library databases. The following collections are included:
- Arts & Sciences I Collection - This collection of 119 titles includes core journals in economics, history, political science, and sociology, as well as in other key fields in the humanities and social sciences, and titles in ecology, mathematics, and statistics.
- Arts & Sciences II Collection - This collection of 124 titles adds depth to many disciplines introduced in Arts & Sciences I, such as economics, history, and Asian studies, as well as core journals in disciplines, such as archaeology, classics, and African, Latin American, Middle Eastern, and Slavic studies.
- Arts & Sciences IV Collection - This collection of 112 titles has a strong focus on the professions of business, education, and law, and also includes titles in psychology and public policy and administration.
- Arts & Sciences Complement - This collection covers important titles not included in earlier collections and captures journals that cross discipline boundaries. A minimum of 150 journals will be added over five years, concluding by the end of 2008.
- Oxford Journals Collection and Archive
- The Oxford Journals Collection offers full text for more than 200 journals in the areas of medicine, sciences, humanities, social sciences, and law.
- OxResearch (through CFVL)
- Oxford Research draws on the work of the Oxford Analytica team to provide strategic analysis of geopolitical, economic and social developments. With a 3-day embargo, each day 7 to 8 three to four page briefs are posted.
- Periodicals Archives Online (through CFVL)
- Archive to 1995 of 150+ social science journals with emphasis on international affairs, history, politics and economics.
- Project MUSE
- Project MUSE provides full text, subscription access to current content from scholarly journals in the humanities and social sciences.
- ScienceDirect (Elsevier), 1995-
- This database provides full-text access to over 1800 peer-reviewed journals published by Elsevier and its subsidiaries. It covers disciplines in science and engineering, life sciences, health sciences, and social sciences and humanities.
- SpringerLink
- This database provides full-text access to over 1,200 journals published by Springer and its subsidiaries.
- Web of Knowledge, 2004-
- The Web of Knowledge provides access to current and retrospective
multidisciplinary information from approximately 8,700 of the world's
leading scholarly research journals. It also provides *cited reference
searching*. The following databases are included:
