Aboriginal Leadership Opportunity Year (ALOY) - End of year
A Graduation Parade for 16 Cadets from the Aboriginal Leadership Opportunity Year (ALOY) program took place at the Royal Military College (RMC) of Canada on Friday, June 17, 2011.
Commodore William Truelove, Commandant RMC and Chief Donald Maracle, Chief of the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte (MBQ) were the reviewing officers.
ALOY is a one year program at RMC for Aboriginal youth that focuses on academic education, military skills, leadership skills, athletics and cultural awareness. The main aim of the program is to help individuals develop their leadership potential to better serve their communities and their country.
